Perfect Day Caterers was started in 2016 by Beverley Matthews and this is how it all began…

From many years of hosting dinner parties, BBQs and larger parties for friends and family, I soon realised I had a natural flair and passion for hosting special events. Being a self confessed foodie, I spend the majority of my free time cooking, reading recipes or watching cooking programmes (I must admit I have an unhealthy obsession with Masterchef Australia!), so taking the step to starting a career in food was the obvious choice for me. I wanted food to not only be part of my social life but also my working life. So Perfect Day was born. Perfect Day now cater for weddings and events throughout Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.

The business has seen steady growth over the years and we are now a team of 3 talented chefs, a business manager, a wedding and events co-ordinator and a well established front of house team, many of whom have been with us for years!
